In recognition of National Melanoma Awareness Month, it seems appropriate to show some of the strange ways that people willingly abuse themselves in conjunction to the sun/tanning. (No worries, there will be no mention of already over-hyped, over-analyzed “Tan Mom” here.) Personally, I think pale skin is beautiful. (Check it out, a whole gallery of over 200 pictures of beautiful, celebrity endorsed pale, pale, pale skin!) It looks healthy, clean, and young, and the avoidance of the sun helps preserve the skin’s natural beauty for years to come. (Let alone the prevention of contracting deadly skin cancer.)
