What is the Baby Lip Plump?
The Baby Lip Plump utilizes .55 CC of Juvederm Volbella to add subtle volume, hydration and contour to your lips. Juvederm Volbella is made from Hyaluronic Acid, which is a natural substance produced by the human body. At About Face Skin Care, we understand how important it is to not only look your best but feel your best, which is why we pride ourselves in giving our clientele top of the line beauty options.
This treatment can be used to correct, balance and define your lips – all while leaving them soft and natural looking.
How Much Does the Baby Lip Plump Cost?
The Baby Lip Plump with 0.55 CCs of Juvederm Volbella is priced at $499.
How Long Does the Baby Lip Plump Last?
On average The Baby Lip Plump treatment can last between 6-12 months. To maintain and prolong the treatment and enhance your skin’s hyaluronic acid levels, we recommend our clients to use HA Intensifier by Skinceuticals.
How Long Will My Appointment Take?
Your time is precious and we want to make the most of it! The Baby Lip Plump takes about 30 minutes, with 15 minutes of topical numbing prior to your treatment.
Does the Baby Lip Plump Treatment Hurt?
Prior to initiation of the Baby Lip Plump Treatment – we will apply a prescription-strength topical numbing cream. This cream allows and ensures the least amount of discomfort while treatment is in progress. In addition, there are numbing agents included in the dermal-filler itself, so after the first poke your lips will be extra numbed.
Pre & Post Care
To maximize effectiveness of the treatment please advise of the following:
To minimize bruising, we recommend avoiding ibuprofen, blood-thinning medications and alcohol 3 days period to your appointment.
With treatments associated with dermal fillers it is expected you experience slight swelling and redness. We recommend to apply ice to the treatment area for about an hour post treatment and orally consuming Arnica (homeopathic) which aids in minimizing swelling and bruising.
Alongside the post care applications – refrain from applying pressure and exposure to extreme heat temperatures.
