BBL stands for broadband light and IPL stands for intense pulsed light. IPL uses a single intense focused beam of light for precise targeting, while BBL utilizes a broader spectrum of light for natural regeneration.

Bringing You Results
The power of BBL
BBL is a light-based technology that erases a variety of unwanted signs of sun damage and exposure.
We customize BBL light waves to penetrate a variety of depths within your skin’s layers. This stimulates all-important collagen and elastin, rejuvenating your skin’s structure for a firmer and more youthful look.
Caring for your skin before and after BBL
Following our pre-care and post-care advice helps ensure successful results from your BBL treatment.
Use sunscreen with at least SPF 30
Use a gentle facial cleanser
Use moisturizer as often as needed to relieve dryness, tightness, and itching
Apply sunscreen throughout the day—once in the morning is not enough to protect you!
Exposing yourself to direct sunlight for 1 week
Using Retin-A, retinol, alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), or bleaching creams
Facials, facial hair removal, microdermabrasion, and laser treatments
Scrubbing your skin with exfoliating products or washcloths

Frequently Asked Questions About BBL
Where BBL has access to a broad spectrum of light, laser facials use a single spectrum to penetrate deeply into the skin. Lasers can be ablative (removes the top layer of skin) or non-ablative, but BBL is always non-ablative.
We can’t recommend BBL to any patient without first meeting to discuss your concerns and examine your skin. Because BBL is gentle and versatile, typically anyone interested in fighting splotchy skin and early signs of aging is a candidate for BBL.
No, you will not need downtime after BBL. Your skin will appear flushed after treatment and you’ll need to protect it from the sun, but otherwise you should be able to go back to your normal schedule.
