Patient eligibility for Morpheus8 depends on personal factors, including age and skin condition. Patients are not eligible for Morpheus8 in Philadelphia if:
- Are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Have metal implants near the treatment area or pacemakers, as the RF energy may interfere with the metal and electronic elements.
- Have a history of keloids, cancer, heart conditions, or autoimmune disorders.
- Have very thin skin or are experiencing declining collagen production which often occurs around ages 60 to 70.
Delay scheduling your appointment for Morpheus8 if you have any open cuts or active skin infections, such as acne, rosacea, or eczema, in the treatment area.
Additionally, we recommend avoiding excess sun exposure and sunburns 2 weeks prior to treatment, and stopping isotretinoin medications (such as Accutane) 6 months before treatment.
At About Face, we recommend an in-person consultation to determine your eligibility, as we can assess your skin health, thickness, and quality more accurately in person than over a virtual consultation. Contact our expert team at About Face to schedule your consultation and start your skincare journey.
