Kybella can be used to remove the banana-shaped pocket of fat experienced under the bum.

Kybella for “Banana Rolls”:

Kybella is made of a specialized acid that permanently dissolves the targeted fat-cells, and the destroyed fat is then eliminated through the lymphatic system over the following weeks. The active molecule found in Kybella, deoxycholic acid, is injected under the skin directly into the fatty tissue. Kybella then works to destroy fat cells in such a way that they cannot be re-created in the future. (However, please note that with future weight gain it is possible for the remaining fat cells to grow and reinhabit the area.) Once the fat-cells are destroyed and eliminated, your body begins to create collagen which gives the treated-area a tighter, smoother appearance.

Yes!

Your body only creates fat-cells at two-stages in life; the first is when you are developing in the uterus and the second is during puberty.

Kybella permanently destroys the existing, targeted subcutaneous fat cells. It works well for those maintaining a healthy lifestyle before and after treatment. Diet, exercise, and metabolism contribute to overall outcome and maintenance.

What if I gain weight after Kybella?

Everyone’s body uniformly accumulates fat; therefore remaining fat cells (those not destroyed) can enlarge based on metabolic and dietary changes.
However, your body will not create new fat cells. If you gains weight after being treated with Kybella, when you shed the new weight you will regain their Kybella results.
