Thinking about trying an Eyelash Lift? Here’s everything you need to know

If you’re on this page, chances are good you already know why an Eyelash Lift + Tint is amazing: your own eyelashes, darker, curled back, no maintenance needed, for 6-8 weeks.

But here’s all the other stuff you should know:

What happens during an Eyelash Lift and Tint?

  1. The eyes and lashes are thoroughly cleaned. Lashes need to be super clean so that the active ingredients applied will have the best chance of working.
  2. An undereye gel patch is placed on lower lashes to keep them in place and prevent them from getting inadvertently involved in the upper lash situation through blinking.
  3. Soft silicone pads are placed on upper eyelids to hold them in place while the perm solution is applied to the uper-lashes.
  4. The lashes are thoroughly and carefully combed straight. Combing the lashes straight is a critical point in the procedure so that once the perm-solution is applied all of the eyelashes will point in the same, desired direction.
  5. A setting solution is applied to the lashes as they’re lifted upwards over the silicone pads. This takes 3½-6½ minutes, depending on how curl-resistant your lashes are. (Your provider can tell during step 4.) The solution is removed with cotton gauze.
  6. A lash tint is applied if you choose. The color depends on the natural color of your lashes and what color you want.
  7. The lash tint is removed, and the lashes are thoroughly cleaned with a nourishing oil.
  8. The lashes are combed, and the silicone pads are removed.
  9. You get to look at a mirror and appreciate your beautiful eyelash results.

Lash Lift Aftercare

  • To get the longest lasting results from your Eyelash Lift and Tint, please follow these instructions:
  • No water can touch the lashes for 24-hours following your lash lift.
  • Your eyelashes should not be directly exposed to steam for 48-hours.
  • You can use your normal mascara, but please remove any eye-makeup with an oil-based cleanser.
  • After the initial 48-hours, use gentle products for cleansing your eyes and avoid rubbing or applying force to the lashes.
  • Using waterproof mascara is discouraged because the removal process can be too harsh.
  • You should not need an eyelash curler, and in fact using one could damage your lashes.

How Long Does the Treatment Take?

A typical Eyelash Lift and Tint treatment usually takes around 45-60 minutes.

How Long Do The Results Last?

Typically the results of an Eyelash Lift and Tint lasts 6-8 weeks. As it wears off, lashes gradually drop evenly and go back to their natural look.
